MAKE THE END OF THE YEAR COUNT FOR OUR STUDENTS
With 2004 coming to a close, many of
you
are
thinking about the tax deductible end of year gifts we
like to make to our favorite charities.
American Friends of Likud is an organization
devoted
to promoting public education on the Middle
East
situation, particularly in Israel, as well as
advancing
the general awareness of Zionism. Our
organization
provides a solid partnership of public support for the
State of Israel, its citizens, and its
democratically
elected governments.
There is still time to make your tax deductible gift to
American Friends of Likud's many programs
aimed at
reaching Jewish students across the
country. Our
High School and College programs
are empowering
Jewish teens to respond to anti-Israel
rhetoric with
concrete skills and in an intelligent and informed
manner on their future college campus. The anti-
Israel sentiment on college campuses, which has
continued to grow in recent years, is only a small
reflection of the world around us. Our students must
be prepared for the challenges they will face when
they arrive on campus.
For contributions over $100 you will receive a signed
copy of Former Israeli Ambassador to the
U.N. Dore
Gold's new book, Tower of Babble.
Thank you for your continued support and we look
forward to seeing you
at future Likud events.

Dear Friends,
The months of November and December were
exceptionally active months for
American Friends of Likud. Amongst our many
guests
were Israel's Minister of
Defense Shaul Mofaz, Education Minister
Limor Livnat,
and Diaspora Affairs
Minister Natan Sharansky. We inaugurated our
South
Florida chapter, and
opened a Los Angeles office for our
Western States
branch. Our Caravan For
Democracy - High School program ran seminars
for
students in Philadelphia,
Denver and Los Angeles, and will
soon be reaching
students in cities such as
Kansas City and New Orleans. All in
all 2004 saw
American Friends of Likud
grow by leaps and bounds, with our membership and
activity at an all-time
high. We look forward to 2005 as a year of
further
growth and continued
pro-Israel activism.
May 2005 bring security, prosperity, and
tranquility to
the United States
and the State of Israel. We wish all our
friends and
members, Happy New
Year.
Ari Harow
National Executive Director
